The first nine holes of the “Madeleine” course offer you a unique view of the countryside. Like a “links” course located on the seaside, the wind is always a factor. Those first nine holes, redesigned and renovated by Graham Cooke and Darrel Huxam in 2003, offer one of the most interesting challenge with their 28 sand traps and their 2 lakes.
The back nine of the “Madeleine” course leads us in a totally different environment. We now have to position our tee shots in the center of narrow fairways edged by mature trees. This section of the golf club offers some of the most interesting holes, especially the 13th and the 18th, two par 4 which are calling for good strategy and perfect execution.
